Lilla Soap Company’s mission is to provide customers access to handcrafted soap, bath, and body products made with natural and organic ingredients.
About Lilla Soap Company
Lilla Soap Company was borne out of seeking a solution for my own skincare challenges. I enrolled in an esthetician program at a local cosmetology school that only used natural and organic ingredients derived from plant based products. While attending esthetician school, to gain a better understanding of skincare and how chemical based (synthetic ingredients) products affects the skin in comparison to products derived from natural and organic ingredients. I quickly discovered that while some chemicals may benefit the skin, often the same affects can be achieved with the use of natural and organic ingredients. Upon completion of esthetician school, I began formulating and making handcrafted soaps and other bath and body products using natural and organic ingredients. My love for handcrafted bath and body products made from natural ingredients eventually grew into Lilla Soap Company.
Each product is handcrafted by or under the supervision of a licensed Esthetician who believes that nourishing our bodies from the outside in begins with our skin. Lilla Soap Company strives to offer skincare products that are good for the skin and good for the earth. We believe in taking care of the earth as it takes care of us.

Lilla Soap Company is a women owned small business that contributes to the strength of our local community. We strive to partner with community organizations who promote the importance of personal hygiene and good health.
What ingredients are used in Lilla Soap Company’s products?
At Lilla Soap Company, we focus on unique recipes and artistry to create our products. We use food-quality, natural and organic ingredients and the “cold process” method. Using the “cold process” method helps us maintain the beneficial properties of each ingredient. We do not use animals fats such as lard, tallow, or poultry fats in our products.
For color and texture, we use cosmetic-grade pigments, herbs and other natural ingredients. We also use plant-based essential oils and specialty blended fragrance oils for smell.

Does handcrafted soap contains lye?
No. Lye is needed to make handcrafted soaps; however, the finished product does not contain lye. Handcrafted soaps are the result of a chemical reaction between oils and lye. When combine, they go through a process called “saponification,” (the making of soap). Through the saponification process, oils transform into soap and glycerin with no lye in the finish product.
